Self Improvement

Self improvement means to improve your knowledge, status, or character by your own efforts. It is the most important thing to adopt because not every person is going to be with you forever to guide you. It is a good practice to seek guidance from others on how to improve yourself but at the same time you should be able to find your own flaws and try to make them vanish in order to live flawlessly. In this article I am going to share some of my own points which I personally think are important for self improvement. So, let’s begin then:

1.    Self Contemplation:-
The first point which I want to discuss with you is that, you should give proper attention to yourself. For you the most important thing should be what you want or what you desire more than what others desire. You should not be hesitated in giving yourself the things that make you satisfy. In fact, you must realize that you are the most important person in your life. All the points that I am going to discuss with you are directly related with this point. If you fail to do this, you won’t be able to follow other points.
2.    Eat Well:-
Eating is the basic requirement of a living thing to survive. But eating well must also be the basic requirement for a human being. Eating good things like fresh home cooked meals, fresh fruits and vegetables, drinking fresh juices etc make your mind healthy and keep your body in a proper shape. If you are regular on fast foods it means you are not contemplating yourself well. It is very hard to break off fast food from your life completely but at least you can reduce the consumption of fast foods as it is extremely important for you. I would recommend you to take fast food once in every two weeks if you can’t stop eating fast foods at any cost.
3.    Sleep Well:-
Sleeping is another basic requirement to survive. But again sleeping well must also be the basic requirement for a human being. By sleeping well you will feel a lot more fresh and chipper and will have the ability to do more work for the rest of the day. But that doesn’t mean that you should be sleeping all day long. Remember by spending your whole time in sleeping you are actually giving invitation to various diseases like heart disease, overweight, diabetes, fuzzier brain etc. Average sleep time that is recommended by most of the doctors is 7 to 9 hours at night. But you should also take a short nap in the middle of the day for at least 1 to 2 hours.
4.    Dress Well:-
It is also very much important to dress well. By dressing well you will be leaving your good impressions on others and by dressing well you will automatically start liking yourself as well and liking yourself is also a part of self improvement. Remember if you don’t like yourself, no one would like you as well. You have to enable others to talk good behind your back. If they talk good about you that means you have improved yourself. This point is also very much related to self contemplation.
5.    Exercise Daily:-
You want to keep your body balance and want to be in a proper shape right? Then exercising daily is the best option for that. By exercising you will not only be losing weight and belly fat but you will also be improving the workings of your brain. The best time to exercise is early in the morning before breakfast. Recommended exercises are:
Cardio, Strength, Push Ups and Pull Ups, Crunch, Bicep Curl, Squat, Reverse Dip, Lunge and Row. You can also go jogging or cycling. Swimming is also considered as the best exercise.
6.    Be good to Others:-
You have to be co operative not every time but most of the time even with those people whom you don’t like much. You must be good to each and everyone to make a good mark of you in their sights. Nice people would appreciate you while the rest would not. But you shouldn’t be care about them because remember you are improving yourself for you not for them.
7.    Spend Time with your Family, Friends and Loved Ones:-
You should give a proper time to your family, friends and loved ones as well. They are the most important people in your life whom you must take care and spend quality time with. They shouldn’t be complaining about you not giving them the proper time. You must keep a gap between your work and your family and you shouldn’t bring problems related to your work at your home. Remember bringing and sharing problems are two different aspects. Bringing problems mean you are bringing problems along with your off mood with you. While sharing problems mean you are sharing your problems for the anticipation of some good suggestions.
8.    Concentrate on your Studies/Work:-
It is very important for you to concentrate on your studies if you are a student or work if you are in a profession. You should give your all to these because these are also the most important things. By concentrating on your studies/work you are going to flourish yourself in front of your colleagues and you will be acknowledged as well.
9.    Avoid Bad Things:-
Bad things include bad habits, bad company, bad attitude etc. You should erase all of these bad things completely from your life. I know we can’t be perfect. We all have some flaws. But at least we can try our best to be perfect. If we set this as our aim we might end up leaving most of the bad things we used to do.
10. Think Positive:-
For self improvement it is important to remove negativities from your life. Keep your thoughts positive. In fact, keep yourself positive. Don’t think rubbish about others, don’t worry yourself much, don’t stress on little things, don’t take much tension about other things, don’t make the negative predictions etc. You should think positively about you, about others and about the world.
11.  Set a Goal:-
Setting goals allow you to plan on how you want to move through life. Some goals take the lifetime to complete while some take just a day. Always set your goals and try to complete them. You can set anything as your goal. For example: Your homework, your task, your destiny etc. Try to complete your goals. If you fail to achieve your goal don’t get distressed, try once again but if time runs out for that goal set up a new goal and try to complete that one.
12. Be Yourself:-
The last and the most important point of this article is, be yourself. You don’t need to follow each and every person out there. You should define yourself. Your personality should leave a mark of you on others. You can only take inspiration from others whom you think are better. You can make them as your personal rivals without making them realize. You can then surpass them. Remember nobody likes someone who is disguised in the form of someone else. Always be yourself because for you there is no any better person but you.

Self improvement should mean a lot to you. You should be passionate about yourself. Remember you can only improve yourself if you know yourself well. You must know your pros and cons, your aim of life, your mistakes, your good deeds etc, only then you will be able to make improvements in the areas where improvement is needed. I have suggested you some points which, if you follow, will benefit you for sure.

Are Romantic Movies Damaging to Real Relationships?

Romantic genre is a standout amongst the most ideal and mainstream genres in the films. Romantic films are the blend of affection, sentiment, drama, adventure, sometimes fantasy, sometimes action and sometimes comedy. These sentimental films depict the live picture of affection and darlings where sweethearts go to some extraordinary point to demonstrate their adoration to either their partners (like The Notebook) or to the entire world.
