Telling Lies: Causes and Effects

Imagine you are a parent and your child commits some action that he shouldn’t have and lies you about that action on asking and you get to know by someone else that your child was involved in this action. How would you feel? You might want to hit your child as hard as you can or punish him in another way. This action that your child commits then has some bad or unhandled consequences resulting in your loss. Well, the thing is that you might have had things under control by the moment your child committed that bad action and if he told you the truth rather than a lie and you might have prevented yourself from the loss. This little imagination does sound horrible. Isn’t it? Well, first of all, we should prevent ourselves from committing bad actions and secondly we should not make it a habit of telling lies.
